Welcome to Civil Air Patrol!

You’re now part of team with a long and proud heritage of serving our community. Now that you have a CAP ID, it’s time to get you signed in and suited up!

Sign into eServices

Your main portal to all things CAP will be eServices. eServices is where you’ll find everything from training materials and achievement exams to our squadron’s e-mail/contact information. You’ll have the ability to maintain a profile and it’s recommended that you sign into eServices regularly.

The very first time you sign in into eServices you’ll most likely be asked to complete the Operational Security Awareness (OPSEC) training. OPSEC training presents important information on how to protect unclassified information about operations and personal information - to ensure safe and successful operations and personal safety of CAP squadrons.

Suit Up!

CAP cadets use two different types of uniforms – a battle dress uniform (BDU – fatigues) and dress blues (more formal), both styled after the U.S. Air Force. Check with the squadron Supply Officer before purchasing BDUs or dress blues – we may have them available through donations of the U.S. military.

There will be some “accessories” that you’ll need to purchase – items such as name plates, patches, and belts. Information on how to order these accessories can be found by clicking here.

Once all your accessories are purchased, you may be thinking – How do I put it all together? The following links will help you look sharp and be compliant with CAP regulations.

If needed, most local alteration shops can sew on the various patches and insignias. The following are two recommendations:

  • Ann’s Alterations – 11715 Rainwood Rd, Little Rock, AR 72212. 501-221-0009
  • Oriental Alterations – 4716 J.F.K Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116. 501-758-7155

If using an alterations shop, it is recommended that you call ahead and check business hours - they can have unusual operating hours.

When you wear each type of uniform depends on the CAP meeting night. Check out the Squadron’s Calendar for the regular schedule.
